Re: Ganainu and Mishpacha Preschool Program
Jewish tradition teaches when a child begins learning the alef-bet, the teacher drips honey onto the letters so the child’s learning is sweet from the very beginning. Congregation Shir Shalom (CSS) Temple Beth Tzedek (TBT) and are joining together this year to provide your child with a first Jewish learning experience that is sweet.
We will provide age-appropriate and meaningful learning opportunities for three and four year-olds to share with the significant adults in their lives, usually a parent or grandparent. The program will alternate between buildings and include songs, crafts that introduce them to our rich culture, heritage holidays and customs.
The program fee is $118 per child. Classes will meet once each month on Sunday from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. The schedule and dates are below:
September 25th at TBT January 22nd at CSS
October 16th at TBT February 5th at TBT
November 13th at CSS March 5th at CSS
December 11th at CSS March 26th at TBT (note: there are 2 sessions in March)
April 30th at TBT
To register, complete the Ganainu/Mishpacha Preschool Program Registration Form and return it with payment (please write check payable to Congregation Shir Shalom) to the Religious School office by August 12th. Our address is Congregation Shir Shalom, 4660 Sheridan Drive, Williamsville, NY 14221.
Members of the community are welcome to participate, so do not hesitate to invite friends with children of this age.
