November Update

Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Succot are over, and school is in full swing.  So far, our push for increased Hebrew proficiency is working well.  Students in all grades are getting extra time devoted for learning Hebrew.  Our 7th grade class curriculum and schedule were modified to give the students one-to-one Hebrew reinforcement to help with upcoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparations.

7th grade students also enjoyed working on their art project with Cathy Miller for Succot, where they learned about, and painted Ushpizin for the Succah decoration.  Tzedek Corp is off to a great start with Rachel and our next class will be on November 24th.  In the month of November, students in grades 3 and 4 will have the opportunity to work with Cathy Miller on their art project which will be pottery chanukiot in preparation for Chanukah.

Limmud session for “Isms” on November 7,14, and 21 is still open for registration.  Sessions are from 7:30-8:30 at TBT and I highly encourage our families to attend.

A BIG thank you to the Parent Council for the amazing Color Run organized on October 27th.  Proceeds from this fundraiser went to support our Religious School.

I, along with the staff, truly appreciate the positive feedback from parents and even students. May we continue together from strength to strength!
