Joyce was an active member of Congregation Shir Shalom’s Sisterhood and a lifetime member of Hadassah. Lillian was an Elementary School Teacher for over 30 years. A previous Temple Beth Am Board Member and volunteer, she was an avid Bridge and Canasta player and enjoyed

FALK – Herbert R. January 19, 2022, age 100. Herb was a member of the 78th Infantry Division and was decorated for bravery in an attack on the German town of Schmidt, on February 7, 1945, for which he received the Silver Star, the Purple Heart, and the French Croix de Guerre.

He was a highway engineer for many years with the NYS Department of Transportation.

Husband of the late Myra Falk; father of Ethan (Anne), Jonathan (Barbara), and Ned (Jennifer) Falk; brother of the late Norma Wachtel and Dorothy Fisher; grandfather of Brian, Karen (Anthony), Jason, Ryan, Harrison, Erin, and the late Andrew.

The family will be having a private service.
