- Open shirshalombuffalo.org/app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.On newer iPhones, tap ••• at the bottom first, then Share.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The Shir Shalom icon appears on your Home Screen.
Android
Use Chrome
- Open shirshalombuffalo.org/app in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen.On some phones it says Install app instead.
- Tap Add. The Shir Shalom icon appears on your Home screen.
Questions
- Do I need the App Store or Google Play?
- No. The app opens from our website, so there’s nothing to download or sign up for.
- How do I get updates?
- They come automatically. Each time you open the app, it shows the latest schedule and events.
- I don’t see “Add to Home Screen.”
- On iPhone, make sure you’re in Safari. On Android, use Chrome. You can also just bookmark shirshalombuffalo.org/app.
- My icon looks different from the one shown.
- If you added the app before we gave it the Shir Shalom logo, remove the old icon and add it again.
